Who we are…what we do

Our primary mission is the defense of the United States of America.

We work alongside uniformed military personnel of the Army, Air Force, Navy and the Marine Corps in the U.S. and overseas, including war zones.

We are skilled craft workers who fabricate and repair aircraft and naval vessels, vehicles, weapons systems, equipment and supplies.

We provide support to armed services personnel and their families—as store clerks and teachers. We are engineers and designers, skilled technicians, accountants and analysts.

Just as we spend our working hours providing security to the nation, we have elected our unions to act as our advocate—to provide us with economic stability, to protect our health and safety and to safeguard our rights.

We are proud of our work and proud of the unions that enable us to do it by ensuring respect, dignity and justice on the job.
